Ashley Alston-Rodger, M.D
Education/Experience
Dr. Ashley Alston-Rodger earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Economics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, while simultaneously completing the prerequisite coursework for medical school. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Dr. Alston-Rodger completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at John Peter Smith (JPS) Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas. During residency, she served as Chief Resident and was honored with the 2026 JPS Resident of the Year Award in recognition of her leadership, dedication to patient care, and commitment to resident education.
Certifications/Medical Organizations
Dr. Alston-Rodger has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and enjoys helping women find individualized treatment plans that improve their quality of life. She is certified to perform Da Vinci Robotics surgery.
Personal
Outside of medicine, Dr. Alston enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, traveling, staying active, and serving her community. She feels incredibly grateful for the opportunity to care for women and considers it a privilege to walk alongside her patients through some of life’s most meaningful milestones—from adolescence and family planning to pregnancy, menopause, and beyond.
